I work across drawing, throwing, hand-building, surface decoration, and glazing, using each as a way to develop and refine ideas. Much of my work begins on the pottery wheel, though I’m increasingly drawn to constructing vessels from component parts.
Botanical, landscape, and abstract motifs recur throughout the work. I allow myself to move freely between styles, following curiosity rather than a fixed direction.
On this site, I share both individual, one-of-a-kind works and production pieces made in small runs. While each piece stands on its own, there is always a thread connecting the work. I find it especially rewarding when others discover those connections for themselves.

Dimensions: 30mm high x 390mm wide
Production Pieces
These works are made in small runs, organised around a shared form, pattern, or style.
Each piece in a production series follows the same underlying design, but is made by hand. This means no two are ever identical. Variations in glaze flow, brushwork, colour density, and firing marks are natural and expected.
When you purchase a production piece, you are selecting a style or pattern, not an exact replica of the photographed item. If you order multiple pieces, you will receive a considered selection with gentle variation across the group.
These works are designed for everyday use functional, durable, and made to sit comfortably alongside one another while retaining their individual character.

This is an Individual Work
It is shaped, decorated, and fired individually, allowing decisions to be made in response to the material as it moves through the process.
When you purchase this work, you are buying the exact object shown. No two pieces are ever the same.

A ceramic fermentation pot designed for slow, natural lacto-fermentation. This centuries-old method preserves vegetables while supporting gut health through beneficial bacteria, enzymes and vitamins. Each pot includes two weights and a water seal, creating a stable environment that allows your ferments to gently bubble away and develop flavour over time.
